Private 1:1 Session
Global Launch Session for the AI Era
1:1 · Your Actual Case · Global Positioning & Execution
You've built something real. You know you want to take it global. The question isn't whether — it's where, how, and in what order.
This is a private 1:1 session for artists, designers, and independent professionals building an international career, client base, practice — or a global lifestyle. In a focused session, we work directly on your situation: your positioning abroad, your English presence, the right international path, and your first concrete move.
Unlike a group program that teaches a framework, this session applies that framework to your actual work and goals. The result isn't more clarity about what's possible in general — it's a specific plan for your next move.

Three sessions. One complete international expansion plan.
Global Positioning
Who are you internationally? We identify your strongest international angle, select your target market and channels, and draft your English career narrative. Visa paths, mobility options, and global lifestyle design — which country, which visa, how to structure your life abroad — are all covered here.
English Presence
We design and deploy your English portfolio or service page. LinkedIn, blog, Instagram, and website strategy are set up alongside.
First Connections
We design your overseas residency application strategy or first international client and collaboration outreach. Experience is converted into international career assets, closing with a 30/60/90-day action plan.

About Jay
Strategic advisory from someone who has navigated the same terrain
Jay Lee is a Seoul-based artist, coach, and studio founder who has worked, studied, and lived across 12 countries — including residencies and projects in Mexico, Germany, Turkey, the US, Canada, Argentina, and Norway. Before founding Material Memory Studio, Jay served as CMO at a major Korean tech startup and as Operations Lead on the product team at a San Francisco startup, and completed professional coaching training in London and Washington D.C.
Jay also runs Reviewed by Artists, an independent residency research platform — giving her direct insight into how global residencies select, what international institutions look for, and how Korean creatives can position themselves in global contexts.
This isn't generic coaching about 'going global.' It's strategic advisory from someone who has lived this — as a career move, as a lifestyle choice, and as an ongoing practice. Not theory. Firsthand terrain.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this only for artists?
No. This session is designed for artists, designers, and creative professionals — and equally for tech or independent professionals who want remote global clients, an international employer, or a digital nomad path.
Do I need an English portfolio or LinkedIn already?
No. Bring what you have as it is. Building your English presence is part of what we do together in the session.
What's the difference between the Session and the Sprint?
The Session (1× 3 hours) is for diagnosis and direction — figuring out what matters, what to build, and what to do first. The Sprint (3× 3 hours) is for execution — we build the English presence, design the path, and plan the first outreach together.
I'm in a group program on global expansion. Should I also do this?
Group programs are excellent for building momentum and understanding the framework. This 1:1 is for when you're ready to apply that framework to your specific situation — your work, your goals, your actual next move.
Can sessions be done online?
Yes. Sessions are available both in-person at Material Memory Studio in Seoul and online.
What should I bring?
Whatever you have: portfolio or website link, work images, LinkedIn, any existing English materials, and a clear sense of what you want from going international. Nothing needs to be finished or polished.

Ready to move from direction to execution?
Send a brief note about your current situation — what you do, what you're aiming for internationally, and what's been most unclear. We'll figure out together whether this session is the right fit, and which format makes sense.
Not all applications will be a fit. Reach out and we can assess together.
