Material Memory Studio — Workshop
Material Memory: BotanicalsTBD — inquire for upcoming dates · ₩220,000
The flowers from our opening night did not disappear. They were dried, pressed, and kept. This workshop turns what was in bloom into something that lasts — bioplastic embedded objects and natural dye colour experiments. No prior experience needed.
Material Memory Studio — Workshop
Material Library VisitTBD — inquire for upcoming dates · Inquire for pricing
Drawing, painting, sculpture, bio, and installation materials — collected, tested, and kept across years of studio practice in different places. This isn't a hands-on making workshop. It's a guided visit into the collection itself: what each piece is, where it came from, and how it's used. Touch what you're curious about, ask questions, and leave with material knowledge you won't find written down anywhere.
Partner Program · XR Exhibition 〈Human Code : 0.5〉
Material Lab × AI ArchivingSun, Aug 23, 2026 · Session 1 · 13:00–15:00 / Session 2 · 16:00–18:00 · Free
A photograph reproduces. A workshop reconstructs. At the XR exhibition 〈Human Code : 0.5〉, visitors send their own photo into VR by QR code. This workshop starts from that photo — not to copy it, but to move the feeling it brings back into physical material. A free partner program at Elice Lab Seoul Center. No drawing experience, and nothing to prepare in advance.

Studio Session · Netflyeonga Farewell Festival
Legacy of a One-Person BrandSun, Jun 28, 2026
We're living in the age of the one-person brand. A good one doesn't start from what you're good at — it starts from what you want to leave behind. At your funeral, someone tells a story about you. What do you want them to say? Hosted as part of Netflyeonga's Farewell Festival, this small-group session started from that question and worked through the three axes of a one-person brand.
Materials & Art Making · Summer 2026
Material Lab × AI ArchivingJul 8 · 15 · 22 (every Wed)
Your work deserves to be remembered. Make something with your hands. Document how you made it with AI. Take it home. An intimate gathering for makers at Material Memory Studio in Mullae-dong, Seoul — where ironworks and artists have coexisted for decades.
Frequently Asked
Which workshop is right for me?
Start with your goal. If you're an artist wanting to clarify your practice and build your digital presence, the Artist Practice Workshop for the AI Era is the entry point. For deeper, personalized work — the Artist Private Session in the AI Era. For residency and open call applications — the Global Open Call & Residency Workshop. For professionals in career transition — the Solopreneur Workshop for the AI Era. If you want to build an international career, client base, or practice — the Global Launch Session is built for you.
Do I need to know how to use AI?
No. All workshops are beginner-friendly. We introduce tools in context, not as the subject — AI is how we work, not what we're studying.
What's the difference between online and in-person?
The content is identical. In-person sessions at Material Memory Studio in Seoul offer a more immersive setting with hands-on material access. Online sessions run via Google Meet with the same pace and exercises.
Can I attend multiple workshops?
Yes — and many participants do. The Artist Practice Workshop for the AI Era + Artist Private Session in the AI Era combination is popular: the group session builds foundational clarity, and the 1:1 session applies it directly to your work.
Are workshop materials available afterward?
Yes. Participants receive the full guide and worksheet after the session, and receive updates when the materials are revised.
